The actions of Stephon Gilmore against the Vikings have resulted in a penalty for him.

This past weekend, the Colts were penalized for Stephon Gilmore's hit on Justin Jefferson during the Vikings' unlikely comeback victory.

The veteran DB jumped at Jefferson and hit his helmet. He wasn't ejected despite the Minnesota bench's uproar.

The Colts were penalized 15 yards for the hit, and Gilmore is getting more. NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero reported the fine.

This punishment, which comes on top of the Colts' historic loss in Week 15, is like pouring salt on an open wound.

After leading 33-0 at halftime, Indianapolis was outscored 36-3 in the second half. The Vikings eventually won in overtime, 39-36.

Gilmore and the Indianapolis Colts will look to rebound against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.

During the game, the Vikings accomplished the greatest comeback in NFL history.
