Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is shown working with the Ravagers and trying to tell Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) that she is not the Gamora he is in love with.

Rocket's origin is briefly shown, and Rocket is seen hugging Lyla the Otter, his love interest from the comics.

The film is written and directed by James Gunn and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Pom Klementieff, with Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket.

Kevin Feige is the producer and Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Simon Hatt, and Sara Smith are the executive producers.
